Our Mandate

Health Quality Alberta is mandated to promote and improve patient safety, person-centred care, and health service quality on a province-wide basis. We do this primarily through the lens of the Alberta Quality Dimensions for Health. Our responsibilities are set forth in the Health Quality Council of Alberta Act.
