Coming Together Around the First Nations Definition of Quality of Emergency Care

On March 12, 2026, Health Quality Alberta staff, First Nations partners, health system partners, and researchers came together to reflect on the Alberta Quality Dimensions for Health and the First Nations Quality of Care Definition for Emergency Care in Alberta. The themes presented in this report reflect perspectives shared during discussions and are not intended to represent the views of every participant, Nation, community, group, or organization in attendance, nor the perspectives of all Indigenous Peoples, including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples.
